For musical theatre schools

Every showcase, every term, sorted.

Three productions in rehearsal, a touring showcase next month, a hundred pupils needing the call sheet by Friday. Limelight makes a busy MT school feel like a properly run company - because it is one.

What MT schools use it for.

No. 01

Termly showcases

Three or four productions in rehearsal at once, each with their own cast, channel and schedule. Pupils flit between shows; you stay sane.

No. 02

Touring weekends

Whole company on the coach to a regional showcase. Schedule, meeting point, dressing-room map - in every cast member's right pocket.

No. 03

Cross-show pupils

A Year 10 cast in three different productions this term. Auto-membership of each show's channel, per-show schedules, no overlap confusion.

Why it works for MT schools.

We've got six WhatsApp groups per term, none of them with the right cast in them.

Per-show channels, auto-membership.

Cast a pupil in the spring show, they're added to that show's chat automatically. Smart membership keeps the channels in step with the shows.

Safeguarding insists on auditable comms with under-18s.

Server-logged messages, GDPR-aware processing.

Every teacher-pupil message goes through one sanctioned channel and is logged server-side. DPA, sub-processor list and security overview on request from the founder.

Our teachers print out the schedule every Monday because the kids never check email.

Push notifications, not your problem.

Reminders go to the phone in the pupil's blazer pocket. Schedules update live across the company. The printer takes the term off.

New cast members always miss the joining instructions.

Add to show, chat invite follows.

Add a Year 9 to the chorus and they're added to that show's chat automatically. Scripts, scores and schedule are waiting for them when they sign in.

★★★★★
We replaced six WhatsApp groups, a shared Dropbox and a paper noticeboard. Our last show was the calmest we've had in years - and the audit log was what finally got safeguarding on side.
